With varying textures, depending on the density of the weaving, the muga merah comes alives with shades of green, white, yellow, blue and black anuhneng (flowers), sunding (peaks and sicuh (zig-zag patterns) that are stitched on a brilliant red piece of woven material. The colours and designs are distinctive of the Iranun tribe.
